The requirements on imported health food are changed at the same time. Challenges and opportunities arise with these changes. On July 1 2016, the Administrative Measures on Health Food Registration and Filing come into force. Previously, there was only health food registration in China, but under the new regulation, it turned into a dual track system of registration and filing. Health food filing is unprecedented in China, which simplify the procedures of administrative examination.
