Taiwan to Adjust the Charges for Substance Registration

7 Apr. 2021, Taiwan has adjusted the charges for the registration of new and existing substances.

It is worth mentioning that the Taiwan has also adjusted the review fee for the extension of new and existing substances registration and for information application. The aim is to reduce enterprises economic burdens and to encourage the application of alternative methods.

Note: (1) The designated projects refer to toxicological characteristics of substances including the skin irritation, corrosion or eye irritation; the specific information refers to the in vitro experiment, estimation of structure-activity relationship or read-across;

(2) If the registrant is an academic institution or a SME, the registrant only needs to pay 75% of the review fee when applying for standard registration of existing substances, standard registration, simplified registration or small amount registration of new chemical substances.
