As part of chemical management policies, many countries and regions have compiled their own lists/ inventories of chemical substances that are manufactured or imported into that country or region. Those lists/inventories are used primarily to distinguish between new and existing chemical substances.
In general, chemical substances that are not listed in chemical lists/inventories will be regarded as new chemical substances and shall be notified to authorities prior to manufacture or import.
The Asia-Pacific Chemical Inventory Search System (APCISS) enables users to search the latest Asia-Pacific chemical lists/ inventories by CAS or English name. APCISS also provides initial analysis of users’ obligations under relevant Asia-Pacific chemical laws.
CIRS is constantly maintaining its database to keep it up to date. The use of this system is entirely free.
How it works?
1. Input identifier and verification code of the chemical substance;
2. View relevant chemical inventories or lists;
3. Input email address, then the analysis result will be sent to the email input.
Inventories contained in APCISS are including:

China - Catalog of Hazardous Chemicals
China - List of Toxic Chemicals Restricted to be Imported/Exported
