18 April 2012, Presentations on the Updates of SFDA Registration of Cosmetics and New Cosmetic Ingredient in China Are Now Available.

About the Presenter
Dr. Cheng Shujun is currently the director of CCARE and a professor in Sun Yat-Sen University. He is also an adjunct professor at Guangdong Pharmaceutical University and Guangdong Marine University. He has been engaged in non-clinical toxicological safety evaluation of human related products, for example drugs, food, cosmetics and household chemicals for more than 10 years. As an expert member of AQSIQ WTO/TBT review group, he has founded CCARE and devoted himself to the development, standardization and promotion of alternative methods to animal testing. He has published more than 60 papers, 6 academic books, drafted more than 10 national standards, and owns 3 patents.
Ms April Guo graduated from Zhejiang Gongshang University with Master Degree in food science. She currently leads CIRS's cosmetic registration and cosmetic ingredient assessment team in China. Prior to joining CIRS, she has worked for Eurofinns Suzhou as a food safety technical specialist.
Mr Yunbo Shi is currently the managing director of CIRS, a leading provider of comprehensive chemical compliance services for companies doing businesses in/with EU and China with a strong focus on chemical compliance. He specializes in chemical classification, GHS, risk assessment, chemical product registration and consumer products labeling review.
Mr Yunbo Shi earned a B.S. in Chemistry from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from University of Maryland, College Park.
